Norit Haffmans introduced new In-line products at drinktec 2009
At exibition drinktec 2009, Norit Haffmans introduced 3 new In-line products. First one is the LiquiDive Oxygen Meter, type KiO2, which measures the dissolved oxygen content of wastewater, second one is the In-line Turbidity meter, type OptHaze-i and the last one is In-line Alcohol/Extract Meter, type ExtrAl-i. Distel Group Ltd. standardizes on Norit Haffmans Inpack 2000 CO2 calculator, type ICC-04. Due to the automatical calculation of CO2 with the ICC-04, Distell found the solution to lower the carbon footprint. Foster's, Australia standardizes on c-DGM for beer.
Norit Haffmans developed an optical O2 measurement via a luminescence principle. One of the main advantages of the c-DGM is that the same instrument can be used for measuring CO2 & DO either in the finished product and/or in the bright beer tank, eliminating errors from using different instruments. SAB Miller, South Africa standardizes on Bottle Monitor.
Bottle Monitor (BTM) is customized bottle, equipped with a temperature-condustivity sensor and electronics to check the bottle washing process. This year, SAB Miller in South Africe decided to instal this Norit Haffmans equipment. More about the project you can read here.

First brewery using High Gravity Brewing in India.
Norit Haffmans offers to Crown Beer India Ltd. offers the best solution, when it comes to the challenge to produce more beer with the same production system with a minimum investment. King Abdullah University of Science and Technologie in Saudi Arabia came with new project - CO2 for potable water
CO2 is used in many industrial applications. In the beverage industry it is used to carbonate beer, soft drinks and mineral water. Mostly within the Norit Group this is where the application of CO2 ends - however there is another application outside the beverage industry where Norit Haffmans can add its CO2 expertise.
