Heat Recovery Systems

The CO2 Recovery process requires energy to condense the recovered
CO2 from fermentation. In the CO2 vaporization process, prior to CO2
consumption, energy is required to vaporize the CO2.
Three Heat Recovery Systems (HRS) are available, which reduce the
evaporation costs and costs to cool down the cooling medium:

• HRS-LiquiVap (more info) combines both energy intensive processes into one
   efficient process. The combined total energy consumption can be reduced
   by up to 60%.

• HRS-Indirect enables breweries to recover energy by evaporating CO2
   by means of NH3.

• HRS-Direct enables breweries to recover energy by evaporating CO2
   by means of glycol, ice- or cooling water.
